Booster Info

Here is a really crude drawing of a double booster system to send a cart with passenger an extremely long distance with no boosters in between.



The person starts Carts 1 and 2 glitching with cart 3. Then they put a cart down on the target track near the button. The button, when pressed, releases cart 3 onto the other part of the track that goes alongside the target track. Person gets in cart on target track and presses button until they are launched down the track. One on both ends of the track will allow for extended boost along almost any length of track.

After doing some research, we have found this booster system to be the best we've seen. Please watch this video if you are interested in how these things are meant to be built and work.

I love this post, thank you for explaining it for us. You also might want to look up Minecraft Mania. Probably the most exciting thing about that mod is that gold blocks can be placed under the rails and act as 8x boosters. The problem is that when Minecraft updates, there is a week or so where no mods work. Please check it out:
